Enjoy your view of Lightning hunched over a stove in the Cherrygrove Pokémon Center, stirring something in a pot. It's an odd sight, both with her hair twisted up into a messy bun and the fact that she's...actually cooking. Anyone who knows her knows that's not a good sign. Especially when she's starting to look a little bit frazzled.]

No, no, no...come on. Don't you dare burn.

[Yes, she's talking to her pot of...something. Unfortunately, this doesn't help her with the cooking and it's with a rather frustrated sound that she takes that pot off the stove, camera tracking her movements while she places it in the sink before scrubbing her face, leaving smears of chocolate down her cheeks as she takes a breath to regain her composure. Is she giving up? Not on your life.

She's just turning back to the counter, where there's enough ingredients for one more try along with a recipe book she's looking back at.]

You could always help, you know.

[A startled "Pika!" and...end feed. Spark still enjoys being Camera-chu, it seems.]

[Leon doesn't know what it is, but he's in an uncommonly good mood today. So what if he and his girl have been stewing on an argument for two weeks? He bought her a valentines day gift, he has every intention of cuddling her and telling her how incredible she is, because goodness knows he doesn't say it enough--

--he pauses in the center kitchen door, slightly alarmed by the scent of burning. As he suspected, he finds Lightning there, unhappily glowering at a pot of...something in the sink.]

Is that...chocolate?

[With a nod, Lightning sighs and continues to glower at her pot in the sink. Frazzled, frustrated...blushing a bit...things just aren't going her way today.]

It's supposed to be. Not that it's working the way I'd planned.

[Case in point, the recipe book Spark is pawing through. The one she'd settled on shows homemade chocolate hearts on a plate, covered in powdered sugar. Yep, Leon. She'd been trying to make those pretty things.]

He doesn't shed that much. Not in the winter, at any rate.

[But come summer...whoo boy.]

[Ven just finished collecting some supplies himself when he sees this broadcast. Aw Pinksis, he can tell you're trying hard]

Chocolate's pretty tough to get right, at least for me. Maybe we could both tackle it?

[Trying hard and mostly failing, if the look on her face is anything to go by. Still, she seems to be in a pretty good mood despite that.]

If you don't mind the smell of burnt chocolate, sure. It'll take a while to clear that out.

I noticed. Cooking meat is a lot easier than this.

[Said in a distracted tone: she's pretty busy trying again, and therefore doesn't really care about the peanut gallery seeing her choice of fancy, homemade chocolate. Probably not the best thing to start her cooking career with, though.]

I wasn't able to find one in the Mart, and they don't have one here.

Course I don't mind, I got pretty used to it last year. But Minnie gave me some pointers that'll help this time.

[Well, it's for someone special and she's determined to get it done. Good spirits only help with that.]
