013 [Video/Action for Goldenrod Pokemon Center]

[It's known to quite a few people that Lightning has been sleeping for a week now. What isn't quite as well known, however, is that her Lucario hasn't left her room no matter which human is at her side. So when the gear clicks on to show Lightning still sound asleep, there's the edge of a black paw on the feed. That pretty much clenches who's recording this.

Recording what, you may ask? Well, just watch the human on the bed as she slowly comes back to the world of Johto. She blinks for a bit, obviously still half asleep, before she slowly raises a hand to her forehead.]

Fal'Cie...

[And, before she can say anything else, Lightning is tackled by her Lucario. Over the happy yips and other noises he's making, the sound of the gear clattering to the ground isn't heard by anyone in the room.]

[ okay, if you thought Rise was hugging tightly before, that was like a loose grip compared to now. ]

[Lightning truly doesn't care; she's practically clinging to Rise now with the way she's holding on. She's not going to let go anytime soon, either.]

I-it's okay. You're here now, you're safe. [ it's all she can really say... it's about as truthful as she can get. ]

[It's about as truthful as any of them will get now.] I know. [And yet, she's still holding onto Rise and not letting go. She'll be okay in a moment and let go then, but right now...not yet.]

[ Rise shifts, just enough to pull her legs entirely onto the bed as she rests her forehead against Lightning's shoulder. Waiting for some comforting words to come, but all she can come up with is what she's said to Souji, when he was petrified and trembling during battle.

No, don't be scared. ]

... I'm with you.

[Lightning nods faintly at that; she knows that Rise is here. It's keeping her steady, and, after a little while, she's able to raise her head and look up. Things will be alright. They'll make due here just like they always have before. It's no different, really.

With that mindset firmly back in place, Lightning looks around the room. There's signs that people have been staying here, and that makes her smile a bit before she catches sight of the window. Or rather, the snow coming down.]

...Rise...how long was I asleep? [If she slept through more than six months--]

Umm... about a week? The weather just got all weird again.

[ Lightning would know if it had been longer, because Hope and Serah would've been collapsed on the bed and Leon would've gone gray. ]

[That makes Lightning sigh, but there's a tiny faint smile on her face now. If there's one thing she can count on, it's Johto being crazy.]

At least this place hasn't changed.

It hasn't changed all that much in ten months... so yeah, a week is pretty tame.

For now, anyway. No telling what could happen these days. [She still hasn't figured out how they slept through a weekend and she ended up in Cherrygrove.]

... Yeah, you're right. It's a good thing you're awake again.

[Nod.] Yeah. It's good to be back, anyway.

Um, did you want to try walking?

[Blink. Blink. Oh, yeah. That's kind of needed. Can't stay in bed all her life.] Yeah. I should try. [You're gonna have to get off first, lil' sis.]

[ fine, fine, she'll inch back and hop off the bed. But she's hovering, just in case she's needed as support! ]

[Lightning will most likely need that support, but once Rise is off the bed, she swings her legs down to stand up. It's a bit shaky, but she manages that and keeps her balance. It's after her subsequent attempt at taking a step that problems arise.

What kind of problems? Well, her legs are pretty shaky and she has to grab the nightstand to avoid falling. Someone doesn't look pleased with herself at this point.]

Dammit. Didn't think it would be this bad.

H-hey, it's okay-- Ven wasn't much better. [ she's already moving closer to offer Lightning a shoulder. ] Staying so still for so long kinda does that to you.

I know. I should have ben expecting it. [And she had, just...like this. So she'll lean on Rise without protest and try again. She is going to walk out of this room on her own two feet, Fal'Cie be damned.]

[ slipping an arm around her waist to better steady her, even if... she's a lot shorter. ] Aww, you're just eager to get moving again!

[Support, even from a much shorter person, is still support. And it gets Light off the nightstand, so it's much appreciated.]

Yeah. [Wry little smile; one step at a time, Farron.] I spent way too long in bed.

You weren't alone... the entire time.

[In confusion, Lightning will now just..take a look around the room. There are signs that people have been in here for quite some time, but....nothing to tell who it could be.]

Who stayed in here the whole time?

Serah-- and Hope. Leon came by a lot, too.

[Surprised look is slightly surprised. She would have expected Hope and Serah, or even Rise, but Leon? Why would he come by so often?

Still, Lightning has to smile faintly.]

I shouldn't be surprised, should I?
