Enjoy your view of Lightning hunched over a stove in the Cherrygrove Pokémon Center, stirring something in a pot. It's an odd sight, both with her hair twisted up into a messy bun and the fact that she's...actually cooking. Anyone who knows her knows that's not a good sign. Especially when she's starting to look a little bit frazzled.]

No, no, no...come on. Don't you dare burn.

[Yes, she's talking to her pot of...something. Unfortunately, this doesn't help her with the cooking and it's with a rather frustrated sound that she takes that pot off the stove, camera tracking her movements while she places it in the sink before scrubbing her face, leaving smears of chocolate down her cheeks as she takes a breath to regain her composure. Is she giving up? Not on your life.

She's just turning back to the counter, where there's enough ingredients for one more try along with a recipe book she's looking back at.]

[A startled "Pika!" and...end feed. Spark still enjoys being Camera-chu, it seems.]

[Even Etro's help may not be enough to salvage the mess Lightning has made, because when she looks up from the recipe book to glance at Hope....yep. Smears of chocolate down her cheeks. She's a totally frazzled disaster and the kitchen doesn't really smell all that good. At least she didn't set anything on fire yet, though.]

[Hope set about the kitchen, clearing a little space to work. He walked over to the sink and dampened a cloth and handed it to Lightning.]

[Really working. That's what she means to say, before Hope hands her the cloth and gestures to her face. What does she--oh, fal'Cie. What a mess.]

It's not going the way I'd planned.

Do you need some help?

[He moves around cleaning a little and assessing their current crisis. He looks at the ingredients and the recipe.]

Oh. Mom and I used to bake stuff all the time! We didn't make chocolates though...

[... Chocolates are perfect for a loved one.]

I'd appreciate that. Never made them before.

[Said as she turns back to her recipe book, face turned away from Hope as she continues...though he'll probably see the faintest hint of a blush on her cheeks if he looks close enough.]

[Suspicious bro is suspicious. But he cleans the utensils and gets ready to start. Reading the recipe he nods to himself, taking the first one and placing it in the bowl.]

Who is someone important? [He tried to remain casual, but there is a little bit of pinkness to his ears that might give him away.

Silly bro wants to know who he has to instantly hate no matter who they are. Unless it's him. Which he doubts.]

[Sis should be suspicious right back at suspicious bro, but she's in a good mood and it's hard to be suspicious at family she trusts. Which is probably not a very good thing at the moment, all things considered...]

[You may sense a familiar (at least to Lightning) feeling of bitty getting a little bit... anti-Leon. He can't help it.

Have you thought of making chilli chocolate? It tastes really good?

[And chilli chocolate is much easier to sabotage.]

[Oh, she can indeed sense it. Happened last time and she was just wondering when it would happen again.

I can't say I've ever heard of it, actually. It wasn't in the recipe book.

My mom and dad used to love it. They gave it to me once.

I didn't like it much, because it was spicy. But it involves little chilli flecks in the chocolate.

[She certainly can't see it ending well; he didn't seem to be the type to like spicy food and chili is...something else.]

I'm not sure we'll be able to make that. Haven't seen anything like chili here.
