And being with each other is nice for Serah and Lightning both; they need each other, especially now, with thoughts of lost loved ones on their minds. It never gets easier to deal with, but at least they have one another. Without her sister, Lightning would have fallen apart a long time ago.
As for Serah's question, well, that's a bit more complicated. They're not kids anymore, not by a long shot, and so she should say no, but...since that day before the Purge, the very idea of turning Serah down gets her stomach in knots. Sure, they could probably manage to sleep alone tonight, but...well, Lightning doesn't relish the idea of sleeping alone either.]
