[Once it's in the air, Odin backs away and lets his summoner handle things the way she does best: with the crack of high-powered thunder spells that seem to crack the sky on their way to hit their target. The Cie'th screams as the magic courses through it, the sound loud enough to grate on ear drums and feel like it's shaking Lightning's bones at the same time, but trapped as it is, the creature can't get away and it takes the brunt of Lightning's assault.
Which is really a lot, and the final straw earns a dying roar from the creature before it fades into crystalline ash that begins to whirl in Ven's spell, formless and more like a dust cloud than the remnants of a monster.]
