[It's known to quite a few people that Lightning has been sleeping for a week now. What isn't quite as well known, however, is that her Lucario hasn't left her room no matter which human is at her side. So when the gear clicks on to show Lightning still sound asleep, there's the edge of a black paw on the feed. That pretty much clenches who's recording this.

Recording what, you may ask? Well, just watch the human on the bed as she slowly comes back to the world of Johto. She blinks for a bit, obviously still half asleep, before she slowly raises a hand to her forehead.]

Fal'Cie...

[And, before she can say anything else, Lightning is tackled by her Lucario. Over the happy yips and other noises he's making, the sound of the gear clattering to the ground isn't heard by anyone in the room.]

[After a moment's pause, that's a nod. Cecil's right: they outnumber Chaos by at least three to one. They'll be fine.]

Right. He won't know what hit him.

On the contrary, he'll know all too well. We'll make sure of it.

[That's something she can do, for sure.] Yeah. You're right about that.

We could even keep him paralyzed while we tell him, with the right attack.

[At that, a thoughtful expression crosses her face. She'd fought through being poisoned or with her vision shot. Could a person fight through paralysis?]

Would it work on humans, though? Not everything from here works on humans.

Esuna's Stun Spore does, and her attacks are quite accurate. Who would suspect an innocent butterfly?

[Everyone from this world, but who cares about the details?]

[This look, Cecil. This look.] You really want an answer to that?

There's no need. I was familiar with the concept of butterfly monsters long before I arrived in Johto, and I have no doubt I am not the only one.

[Nod.] After fighting plants for hours, seeing butterflies attacking wouldn't be a surprise.

The ones in my world would attack us alongside their caterpillars, almost like Caterpies.

[...Cecil, you should not sound so happy about it.]

[He shouldn't, really, but Lightning doesn't seem to mind at all.] We only had the caterpillars and slugs. But at least they're easier to fight than turtles taller than most buildings.

...Those sound much taller than the turtles we fought in the underworld. Much, much taller.

[Nod.] They were about four or fives times taller then the Chocobos in the area. Weren't anything you'd want to fight, either. [Frown. She's speaking from experience!]

They sound like they could kill you by accident, with a mere misstep.

They could. Nearly did a few times, before we learned to avoid them at all costs.

From what I can tell, that was a very wise decision. Were they aggressive?

Not unless we attacked them first. They were content to leave us alone if we did the same.

That's a rarity, amongst monsters.

It's probably because they were so big. Not much could hurt them, so they didn't need to fight unless they were attacked. [...maybe. Fang would know more but she's not here, so...]

That sort of confidence is impressive, but from what you've said they can afford it.

They were the biggest monsters in the area. They could afford it without anything trying to make them lunch. [Not like the six of them at all.]

What about the other local monsters? Were they nearly as impressive?

[Headshake.] The Behemoths only stood half as tall, and they were the next biggest thing. They'd pick a fight with anything that got too close, though.

Aggressive or not, I'd still take my chances with the Behemoths.

[Nod.] You'd have a better chance. Until they pull out their chainsaws, anyway.
