[Evening, people of the Corps. Have a Lightning on your screens tonight, with the howling roar of the blizzard right behind her. She doesn't look too good, hair pinned away from a too-flushed face, but her voice is even and strong.]

As soon as this blizzard's blown over and the holidays have passed, I need everybody in Goldenrod as soon as possible. You've heard by now that the Radio Tower is still being held by Team Rocket, and we're planning to take it back. [a pause as she swallows hard and inhales, then:] But in order for this to work, we need everybody here so we can plan squads to cover our weaknesses instead of leaving holes in our defense. We're only going to get one shot at this before they start preparing for an attack instead of leaving the doors open, so we have to make this count.

[Her eyes narrow slightly now, before she sighs.]

I'm not saying this is going to be easy. Chances are people are going to get hurt, both on our side and theirs, but you were all warned about that when you signed up for the Corps. If you think you won't be able to do this, for whatever reason, say something now and we'll move on without you. We don't have room for sympathy this time.

[End feed. Blunt and to the point, as always.]

[ooc: as always, a list of the Corps Members can be found here. If your character is a member, assume that they received a message directing them here, just in case it was ICly missed.]

[... It's a good thing she didn't, or she'd be on the other end of a glare. As it is now, he instead gives her a nod.]

It makes a difference in the long run. Keeping people in there too long would put them in an unnecessarily dangerous situation.

[They all signed up for danger, true, but there's a lot of risk in that original plan that they could do without.]

We could go in groups. Make a sweep and get out. Give everyone an area to work on and keep it as clean as possible.

[He has no doubt she wouldn't wither under a glare, but it would do little to help the conversation considering the last one they had, so.]

[Which is also why he doesn't bristle at that little jab. It's a difference in opinion. It doesn't have to end badly.]

Group sizes could be done in proportion to how much there is on every floor. I'd suggest gathering recounts from the people who broke in before they start forgetting what they saw, if you haven't already. Maps, too.

[No, it might not be clean, but clean is the best case scenario. Hence, as clean "as possible".]

[Wow thanks, Lightning, Coop doesn't want to break your nose :| ...]

[Also there's a bit of a pause. Priorities, wasn't it? But he'll bite that one back, for the time being. And when he does speak it's with a well-worn professionalism.]

Ask around. There might be records kept of its interior and construction from the time it was first built. When it comes to the others, don't wait too long to ask them.

[The day Dale Cooper breaks someone's nose for no other reason than malice is the day the sky falls.]

[By the way, he did notice that off colour on her skin, but ... well, there's a certain priority in ignoring that for the time being as well, isn't there?]

Someone also said that wasting time must be the greatest prodigality. There's quite a balancing act in the compromise between the two.

[Still, he doesn't doubt that she'll manage, and so moves on, now frowning slightly.]

Is that a normal fever or side-effects from poisoning?
