[The feed opens to a field of white this afternoon. It looks like one of Goldenrods mostly empty streets, with one exception.

The sound of hooves.

Has Santa and his herd of Stantler come early this year? Nope, it's just....ODIN!? He's not so little anymore, that's for sure. If anything, he seems to be tall as Lightning now, with a horn sprouting from his forehead and fire all down his back instead of just his mane and tail.

And speaking of Lightning...if you can see past the camera's gentle bobbing, you'll see she's riding him, attempting to get a feel for how different this is from a Chocobo. No saddle, no reins. Just her and her horse, in the empty streets of Goldenrod.

Up until she notices the Gear is on, though. Have a ghostly laugh, Route. Seems her Gastly got into her things again.]

Oh, give me that. Should name you Fang or something.

[And with that, the feed clicks off. Anyone wants to run into these three? They'll be in the streets for a while.]

Yeesh... [She eyes Blaze, then Odin, comparing the two. She doesn't exactly check as often as she should, but she's preeeeety sure Blaze isn't quite level forty. Or... even ten, for that matter.

She straightens, grinning broadly.] Eh, can't take that long when I'm the trainer! A few weeks-- a month max! [... Overly self-confident, this one.]

[Odin snorts, and Lightning shakes her head.] It took me three months of training him to get Odin to this point. You won't be able to do it in a month. [Maaaybe two if you don't get any...interuptions.]

Hah! Betcha I can prove ya wrong! [No, Dash. No, you will not be able to do that. At all. Ever.

She enthusiastically pats Blaze on the back. Even the Ponyta looks unconvinced.] Right, Blaze? [The Ponyta snorts and looks away. Dash gapes.]
Wha--? You don't believe me?

[Lightning and Odin appear to share an unamused look for a second, before Odin whinnies in amusement and Lightning shakes her head.]

You try to get your Ponyta that strong in a month and you'll drive it to the point of exhaustion. There's no way you can do it.

[She glances sidelong at Blaze, looking... maybe just a bit guilty.]
... Uuugh. Fine. Geez.

... Not like Blaze wouldn't be able to handle it though. If I was gonna go through with it, I mean. Blaze is tough, like me! [DETERMINED FACE.]
